The reason Botox works so well is because it paralyzes the muscle.  However, there are alternatives that also work well to visibly reduce eye wrinkles.  For example, cosmetic dermal fillers, such as Juvederm® and Restylane®, are put beneath the wrinkle to flatten it out and add volume within the skin.  The fillers contain hyaluronic acid, which is found naturally the skin and helps to provide fullness and elasticity.  The effects of these fillers can last longer than Botox, often up to six months.

So, examine your options and do your research carefully, and you just might find a better, longer-lasting and possibly less expensive alternative to Botox.
